Keeping You Milking

stocker-logoStocker Dairy Plumb, based in Ashburton, mid Canterbury design and install dairy sheds for milking cows in herds from 400 to 1000s.

They stock and install a wide range of milking equipment, making milking easy. Their highly qualified staff carry a wealth of information and are experts at finding the best solution for each individual farm and situation. Stocker Dairy Plumb are also fully qualified IQP Backflow Prevention Installers and Testers.

Their latest dairy shed in Kirwee/Darfield milks 60 cows at a time on the rotary table, twice a day with a herd of approximately 1000 cows.

In the pump room aquatherm SDR11 blueline pipe is used in sizes up to 125mm.  aquatherm pipe is used as it complies as a food grade material.  aquatherm PPR-C pipe is resistant to corrosion (0ph to 14ph) meaning it is more acceptable when using bore water as metallic pipe would corrode over a period of time.

aquatherm PPR-C is also environmentally acceptable, which is an advantage when “clean, green” is a requirement.
