The new Waitemata Health Elective Surgery Centre (ESC) located at North Shore Hospital was officially opened by Health Minister Tony Ryall with a project value of $39million. This state of the art, surgical procedure centre (non urgent) has four operating centres, 40 inpatient beds, consulting rooms and associated systems and units and is expected to host 6,000 elective surgeries every year. We are seeing more of these ESC’s which are designed to reduce patient waiting times for elective surgery and ensure more efficient services for patients in regional areas.
aquatherm green and lilac pipes were utilised for hot and cold potable water, reclaimed water, plant room requirements and deionised water systems throughout the project.
The consultants for this project were Aurecon. Installers W H Coyle Limited once again did a professional job with onsite support from the Aquatherm team throughout the project’s duration.
