Due to the flexible nature of PP-R, most forms of paint are unacceptable for a UV protective coating. We recommend the use of a heavy-duty, water-based, elastomeric acrylic coating, which can adjust with the pipe without cracking. The life cycle performance of any of these products will depend on many installation and use factors. The manufacturer of the coating should be consulted for this information.
